Core IP facilities and Internet Backbone connections
On-Communications manages its IP and Internet Connectivity with RIPE and Global Crossing.

RIPE
The European RIPE NCC is one of five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) across the globe providing Internet resource allocations, registration services and co-ordination activities that support the operation of the Internet globally.
On-Communications is a member of RIPE and allocates its own IP address ranges and also an Autonomous System Number (ASN), critically important for peering arrangements with other service providers.

Global Crossing
Global Crossing is arguably the World's best wholesaler to Internet Service Providers; indeed in 2006 they were awarded 'Best Global Wholesale Provider' by Capacity Magazine, as judged by a leading industry panel.
Global Crossing operates the World's largest wholly owned IP network (click link below for interactive network map), serving many Global Fortune 500 companies.

On-Communications has a strategic relationship with Global Crossing to whom it passes all its Internet traffic. This relationship means that On-Communications' customers benefit from Global Crossing's tier one interconnect and peering arrangements right across the globe.
With these high quality suppliers providing our core connection services we can ensure the highest level of service for our customers.
Our carrier-class wireless network and core backbone provide industry leading latency times, (a key advantage over wireline technologies such as SDSL and Leased Lines) for the delivery of VoIP and other latency vulnerable services.
