The symmetrical broadband internet services for business from On-Communications are delivered by a dedicated wireless link to our customers, premises. This innovative use of the latest wireless technology is what differentiates our business internet service. It allows On-Communications to be in total control of your internet connection all the way from your premises directly to the core of internet, providing connectivity that is totally independent of BT Openreach's cables and infrastructure. This means that the bandwidth we provide your business is dedicated to you and not shared with other customers or users. Technically this is described as "1:1 Contention" and gives you the benefit that the symmetrical bandwidth rate (1mb/s to 10Mb/s) you sign up for is always available.
Service Level Agreement - Detail
The commitment regarding symmetrical broadband bandwidth is further enhanced by the ability the burst* to twice your contracted speed at peak times. Additionally all business broadband internet services from On-Communications are backed by a meaningful Service Level Agreement (SLA). On-Communications will provide service credits if we fall to deliver against the terms of our SLA. The following elements are covered by our SLA:
- Ready for Service Date - meeting the agreed installation date normally less than 15 days.
- Total Network Availability - ensuring network availability is 99.5% or higher.
- Round Trip Delay (Latency) - providing 25mS or less round trip delay.
- Time to Repair - making sure service is quickly restored in the very unlikely event of an interruption.
