Talking Business chooses On-Communications as WiMAX Fixed Wireless Access Partner

Business communication solution provider, Talking Business has introduced WiMAX Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) to its converged portfolio.

On-Communications, the UK’s leading WiMAX FWA network operator, today announced that Slough based Talking Business has joined its channel partner programme and will resell its internet connectivity services.

Talking Business will promote WiMAX FWA services from On-Communications in conjunction with converged voice solutions to both its existing customer base and new clients. Talking Business believes the benefits of the wireless ISP’s guaranteed performance business internet connectivity are of real interest to end user organisations.

Managing Director of Talking Business, Gordon McRoberts described the service from On-Communications as, “Very complimentary to our converged voice solutions because the guaranteed performance, symmetrical bandwidth and low latency means it is ideal for VoIP applications.”

As part of a migration strategy to VoIP solutions for existing customers, Talking Business will focus on the On-Communications service as the delivery mechanism for SIP trunks. In addition they will also promote the Diverse Backup product from On-Communications to businesses that have invested in leased line or fibre technology, and need a cost effective alternative connection for backup.
