New Sheffield Headquarters for On-Communications
Fixed Wireless Internet Access provider On-Communications, has moved to new headquarters located in Sheffield Business Park. The move results from sustained growth of the business and the continued roll-out of the companies high speed business broadband internet services across major UK urban centres.
A number of significant factors attracted the company to South Yorkshire. Sheffield is one of the first cities where On-Communications launched their service and as a result businesses in the area can benefit from high speed internet access delivered direct to their premises. Importantly for the future development of the business, On-Communications saw a wireless skills cluster beginning to develop in Sheffield and as a provider of wireless based services expect to both supplement and take advantage of this.
With its central location and good transport and communication links, Sheffield is a great location from which to support the UK wide network being developed by On-Communications.
